Welcome Aboard the American Tug 49’!

This is built in LaConner, WA by the Tomco Marine Group.

With our 49 tug design we wanted to incorporate a settee, which is a forward and aft facing seating space for four. The cool thing about this type of settee is when the boat’s underway it feels almost like a train going through Europe. You’re sitting, you're facing forward, you’ve got a great window, and some flow through ventilation, it’s just a great place to relax.

The American Tug 49’ is what we call a raised pilothouse design. You have this really large wheelhouse which is a great place for hanging out, for entertaining. It’s where the action is when you’re boating. With the raised pilothouse you have wonderful sightlines; you can see all around you in the water.

Marine electronics on boats have come a long way in the last ten years. The new electronics are wonderful daylight viewable in all conditions, multifunction computers, with tremendous amount of data we can bring up.

We have two cabins forward that are really quite comfortable for your VIP guests and close family. It’s an ideal boat for cruising the northwest waters from here to Alaska, from Alaska down to the Panama Canal and points beyond.
